I recently wrote a post about vacation experiences that kids remember for I See! Me personalized books. Their newly released travel book for children, My Very Own World Adventure Book, takes kids on an adventure around the world as they visit a country that starts with a letter in their name and are presented with a gift from a child that lives there. Kenya, Tanzania and Argentina are a few countries that my daughter, Katarina, visited on her journey.
As my daughter and I read through the book, I started thinking about how much I enjoy reading about the adventures that the Ciao Bambino writers take with their families.
It was my first visit to Montréal and I know now it wont be my last! I spent four days (way too short) criss-crossing the city on foot and what I found was a charming, laid-back city with a distinct European feel. S
For many travelers, the best part about a big, hectic, twelve-million-inhabitant Southeast Asian city like Manila is leaving it. But even for those with a taste for urban chaos, a day trip to the surrounding areas can provide a breathe of fresh air and a new dose of cultural perspective.

DUBLIN Dublin isn’t cheap. But the flat, compact Irish capital is exceptionally walkable, with a wide range of free attractions easily reached on foot from any downtown hotel. Live music might cost no more than the pint that’s probably in your hand.
If HuffPostTravel can declare that the “Old Travel Show is Dead, Long Live the New York Travel Festival,” then we might be right in declaring that “Travel Destination Articles Are Dying, Long Live Social Media Travel Content.“
So, when a senior editor at Technorati told me that, going forward, all travel-related content had to have a Social Media spin, had to be presented via a Social/New Media filter, I knew the travel content game had changed. No more colorful destination pieces?
And then I read about a Travel Trends Blogger Conference in New York this month, further proof of the nichification of travel content, and the trend toward, travel trends.
